I respect the house. I clean up. I don’t leave a mess. If I move something to do a job, I put it back. Sounds basic, but it’s apparently not that common.

No minimum job size. Some companies have minimum charges of $300 or more. If you have a small repair that’ll take 20 minutes, I’m still happy to come out. Those small jobs are how I build relationships with customers who become regulars.

I handle everyday repairs, plus safety additions like grab bars and handrails, changing hard-to-reach fixtures and smoke detectors, and the general upkeep that’s easier to hand to someone you trust. You’ll always know it’s me showing up, and I’ll give you the price before I start.

I just moved into a new build — can you handle the whole setup? Absolutely. Blinds and shades on every window, ceiling fans, TV mounts, garage storage, curtain rods — I can do the whole move-in punch list in one visit so you’re not chipping away at it for months. (Builder-warranty items should go back to your builder; I handle everything the warranty doesn’t.)

Do you work in gated and HOA communities? Yes. The Oasis and several other Menifee communities are gated or have HOAs — just add me to your guest list or let the gate know I’m expected. If your HOA has rules about exterior colors or materials, tell me upfront and I’ll work within them.

How much do handyman services in Menifee cost? It depends on the job, and I’ll always tell you before I start. Small repairs, single installs, and safety additions typically run $200–$350 depending on complexity. Larger jobs and full days of mixed tasks are quoted by scope, and bundling several jobs into one trip is usually the better value. I don’t have a high minimum charge.

Are you licensed and insured? Briggs Handyman is a licensed local business and fully insured. I’m not a general contractor — California law limits the scope of what an unlicensed contractor can do, and I’m upfront about that. Small safety additions like grab bars and handrails are well within what I do; a full bathroom remodel isn’t, and I’ll tell you and point you to someone licensed for it.
